Situated above Zweisimmen, at 1560 metres above sea, the Site Alp welcomes summer visitors interested in exploring alpine nature and agricultural traditions. Up to 150 people can be catered for, with the dairy farm's produce taking centre stage on the typically local menu. Dishes include rösti with veal ragout, raclette, mutton with potato salad, as well as sharing platters. The show dairy and family farm can be viewed as part of a guided tour.

For a location full of character and history, head to the Altholzgade in Frutigen. The rustic large room has been fitted with locally recycled wood and exudes a warm and homely atmosphere. It provides the perfect setting for wonderful events – from family celebrations such as weddings and birthdays to stylish company gatherings.

Have you ever gone for a walk with an alpaca? Alpakahof Bern, a picturesquely situated alpaca farm, offers the perfect opportunity. Stroll through meadows and forests, taking in views of the federal capital and the mountains as you enjoy the company of these tame and cute animals. The farm offers both guided tours and independent walks. By arrangement, brunch, lunch, drinks and nibbles or an evening meal can be provided in the homely converted barn Heubüni Ortschwabe.

Do you fancy a taste of the wild west? Then you will like the Römerhof. Situated just a few minutes' drive from Biel, in Bühl bei Aarberg, the farm is surrounded by meadows and fields. The extensive country estate offers a range of dedicated spaces both in the house and outdoors, and the event gastronomy team can cater for up to 180 guests with freshly prepared dishes. There is plenty of fun and games on offer too. Choose between piglet racing, archery and other activities and games of skill.

This unique swiss open-air museum is all about experiencing Switzerland. A team event on the Ballenberg offers first-hand experience of old traditions and customs and allows visitors to delve into the day-to-day life of past times. More than 100 rural buildings from across Switzerland, numerous farm animals, old crafts and Swiss cooking are waiting to be discovered on the grounds.
