Diemtigtal Nature Park

The Nature Park, where everything normally slows down, holds a hidden gem for mountain bikers. The versatile routes promise fast-paced challenges and end in the first pump track of the Bernese Oberland. Once a year professional bikers gather here to compete in the iXS Swiss Downhill Cup. If you prefer to stand on your own feet rather than sitting on a bicycle, there are plenty of events away from the bike park, such as concerts and culinary events.

Families appreciate the Diemtigtal due to its many outdoor activities. On the Grimmimutz Discovery Trail, children can discover the story of the forest dwarf “Grimmimutz” and the pepper witch with the help of illustrated markers. There are dedicated places and courses (“Lernort Naturpark”) where children can learn about nature. When it gets really hot outside, both children and adults can cool off and play at the “Gwunderwasser” water playground. Along the hiking trails, past enchanting mountain lakes and lush alpine meadows, picnic and BBQ areas invite hikers to take a break.
