Alpen tower, Haslital

Alpen tower

High above the Haslital, at 2250 m above sea level, stands the majestic Alpen tower. The 360-degree panoramic view is unique. In good weather, you can see over 400 mountain peaks from here.

The Susten and Finsteraarhorn or the Grimselwelt – on the other side Lake Brienz, the Brienzer Rothorn and in the distance the Jura. The Alpen tower scores with a spectacular 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains and the Haslital. In summer it is an ideal starting point for hikes – from the Horizon Trail to the Sun Trail and the Three Summits Tour – as well as paragliding flights.

Between June and October, the rich breakfast buffet in the panorama restaurant also scores points.  And in the showroom, a 15 m wide and 2.5 m high staging of a winter sequence from the Muggestutz book "An Extraordinary Winter" makes children's eyes sparkle. A little further down the Hasliberg, two themed paths are also dedicated to the most famous Hasli dwarf.

In winter, the Alpen tower is the highest point of the Meiringen-Hasliberg ski region. A total of 60 perfectly groomed kilometres of pistes are available to guests.
