The Brienzer Rothorn holds a record, without a doubt! Visitors not only get to admire views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, but also of up to 690 other mountain peaks.

The mountain restaurant Rothorn Kulm, which has gained an excellent reputation, offers traditional, regional and fresh cuisine and allows you to recharge your energy.
Switzerland’s only steam rack railway has been climbing up to the Brienzer Rothorn since 1892. With its distinctive red colour and nostalgic design, it transports passengers in summer to the mountain peak. After this journey from another era, visitors are greeted with scenic views of the glistening emerald Lake Brienz. It is also the perfect starting point for an extensive tour of the Rothorn.
