Team events on wheels

Whether your aim is to get new projects on the road, improve group dynamics or simply provide some time away from everyday life – these ideas will re-energise your team.
Töfflitour, Emmental

Pure nostalgia: With clattering engines and plenty of wind in your faces, you and your group of up to 42 people can go merrily chugging your way through the Emmental on mopeds. On roads with little traffic and picturesque views, you can enjoy – as in the good old days – the romance and the moments of shared experience. The Kambly factory shop, where you can sample over a hundred varieties of biscuits, is an obligatory stop. With this ride as a day trip or evening event with after-work beer, you will not be left behind along the way.

The Spiez culinary train combines delicious food with an enjoyable ride through Spiez and its surrounding farmlands. Only the chauffeur knows where the journey will lead. Trampelwurm, Thun

The "Trampelwurm" is a joyfully bizarre vehicle and the only one of its kind across Europe. A curios string of recumbent bicycle-like units, it's as long as a lorry but has no engine. Accommodating a maximum of 10 riders, the 18-metre vehicle is purely people-powered. Riders can choose between pedalling, rowing, cranking and treadling. The "Trampelwurm" can be hired for city tours around Thun and always comes with a driver.

At the top, you get to take in the fabulous views of St. Peter's Island, Lake Biel and the Alps. But the highlight is yet to come, in the form of a thrilling scooter ride down through the vineyards. Along the way, you will learn more about the region and its wines, before finally savouring a delicious glass of wine from the region on the shores of Lake Biel.

Eiger Grand Prix, Teamevent
[Translate to English:] © Outdoor Switzerland AG

Each team builds its own racing car and then tries to beat the other teams in the ensuing competition. Divided into groups, you will be turning the vehicle base frame into a functioning racing car using only the materials and tools provided. As soon as your soapbox car has passed the safety check, it's off to the race track. The challenge now is to cover as long a distance as possible. Bonus points are awarded to those teams demonstrating creativity and ingenuity during the build.
