The Agricultural Fair of Chaindon in Reconvilier (BE) is the leading agricultural fair in the Grand Chasseral region. With rides, animals, entertainment and regional food, it is a varied experience for the whole family. Once the largest horse market in Europe, the Agricultural Fair of Chaindon has been listed as one of Switzerland’s living traditions since 2017.

Throughout the weekend, carousels, rides, animations, shows and workshops offer variety for all ages. Parents can stroll through the market stalls and discover regional specialities, while children can observe farm animals such as chickens, rabbits and sheep. On Sunday, the famous pig race brings laughter and amazement to young and old alike. The agricultural machinery exhibition also gives interesting insights into the region’s work and history.
