Halloween in the Bern Region 🎃

Less spooky, but beautifully autumnal: Frutigen transforms into a colourful autumn market. Local delicacies, market stalls and a lively atmosphere make the day unforgettable. In the evening, the legendary Market Party kicks off in the event hall – with dancing and fun until late into the night.

In the past, the bodies of executed people were buried nearby, alongside animal carcasses. Today, it’s all about celebrating rather than being spooked.

Sikypark turns mysterious and delightfully spooky. Experience a special Halloween evening at the Swiss Animal Rescue Park and enjoy the mystical atmosphere. Visitors in costume receive free admission from 6:00 pm. Look forward to surprise entertainment. The park is open until 11:00 pm.

The «Día de Muertos» is one of Mexico’s most important holidays, a time to lovingly remember those who have passed away and to celebrate life. Look forward to workshops, exhibitions, performances and guided tours, Mexican food stalls on Helvetiaplatz, market stalls in the museum park and the Catrinas Parade through Bern’s Old Town.
