The combination of fast action and a holiday atmosphere have turned beach volleyball into a trending sport. Thanks to the Swatch Beach Gstaad, this sport is also represented on an international level in Switzerland.

Fine sand, top performances, well-toned bodies and a lot of bare skin. For one week every July, the wellness oasis Gstaad turns into a beach volleyball stronghold when the best teams in the world compete against each other on the court. The Swatch Beach Pro Gstaad does not only attract stars of the scene to the Bernese Oberland, but also a lot of fans who come to witness the fast-moving serves, the blocks and the spectacular vertical jumps in the sand. And of course, they want to get a first-hand experience of the exuberant atmosphere.

The events off the volleyball court also create a holiday feeling with many visitors. Away from the sand court, spectators have a wide range of activities to choose from such as concerts, dance sessions, parties or the beach village with its many bars, beaches and a variety of culinary offers.
