The beautiful architectural monument, Burgdorf Castle, has stood on a clifftop above the Emme River for over 800 years. In 2020, it was transformed into a “castle for the people” – housing a museum with educational school programmes, a romantic wedding venue, a youth hostel and a restaurant.
