At the alpine restaurant Balis on Balisalp in the skiing region of Meiringen-Hasliberg, everyone is warmly welcomed as a "mountain friend". Indeed, among the welcoming hosts, mountain friendship is not an empty phrase. With a team event at the Balis you are guaranteed a genuinely hearty selection of dishes: from a traditional alpine farmer’s breakfast with Rösti to home-made cheese tart and legendary platters packed with local alpine cheeses and shavings of Hobelkäse.

Warm and rustic, the Berghaus Elsigenalp is located at 1,794 metres above sea level, right in the centre of the Elsigen-Metsch ski area. It provides a welcoming setting for relaxed gatherings over a meal, as well as for small seminars in the refurbished self-service area. Recommended: the group special with all-you-can-eat fondue or raclette, bookable for groups of 10 or more. Outside, plenty of winter activities await, offering team fun in the snow – such as a torch-lit walk around the wintry Brandsee or a sledge run down into the valley.

Alpine chic meets tradition on the high plateau of Engstligenalp. The Raclette Hut situated close to Berghotel Engstligenalp offers space for up to 80 people – making it ideal for a convivial company event or a special get-together for your society. Those who want to get some exercise in before the hearty meal can simply combine it with a round of cross-country skiing, a snowshoe trek or a winter hike.

Hike through unspoilt nature to reach the cosy Alp hut on Bonderalp. Here, at close to 1700 metres above sea, you can enjoy the fascinating views onto the village of Adelboden and the surrounding mountains. To round off the experience, you and your team can refuel with a hearty Fondue or Alpine macaroni. The snowshoe trek is adapted to suit your requirements. Hiking at dusk or even at night when there's a full moon can be a particularly memorable experience.
