8 km long, the "Big Pintenfritz" is one of the longest toboggan runs in Switzerland – a previous host at the Faulhorn giving it its name.
Starting point is First (2,166 m), reached by gondola cableway from Grindelwald. From here a 2,5-hour walk on a signposted footpath takes you direction Bachalpsee and further up to the Faulhorn (2,681 m). Once on the Faulhorn you will be rewarded for your efforts with a unique panoramic view of much of Switzerland.
