The Bieler Braderie delights visitors in the heart of Biel with market stalls, entertainment, regional food and a lively bilingual atmosphere.

The Bieler Braderie has been one of the top summer highlights in Biel Seeland & Grand Chasseral for more than 80 years. Created during a difficult economic period, it has grown into a lively city festival that attracts around 150,000 visitors to the centre of Biel every year.

Over three days, bargain hunting, free concerts, market stalls and culinary specialities fill the streets of Biel. A special feature is the city’s living bilingualism: German and French come together naturally and create the unique atmosphere of the Braderie.
