Lenk Alpine Festival

From 9:30 am, a varied programme awaits you at the Lenk Alpine Festival, with an all-day farmers’ market, five hourly alpine cattle descents, known as Züglete, bell-ringing clubs, cheese-making demonstrations, a cheese auction, food and drink, yodelling, brass music, a petting zoo and even a tractor race.

One of the highlights is the alpine cattle descents: farming families proudly present their beautifully groomed cows, decorated with flowers and traditional bells, as they make their way through the village of Lenk.

At 4 pm, it is time to elect “Miss Lenk”. Join the competition, vote for your favourite and help choose the most beautiful cow in Lenk. Throughout the day, the farmers’ market offers genuine local products and handicrafts from Lenk to taste and buy. Music and food stalls create a lively atmosphere.

From 8 pm, the celebrations continue in the festival tent with food and drink, a bar, live music and dancing.
