Bort alpine playground

Intermediate station Bort, Grindelwald First

The 700-square-metre Bort alpine playground is located at the first intermediate station Bort of the First cable car, between Grindelwald and First. Children can look forward to an adventurous experience with exciting play equipment such as climbing frames, swings and a slide surrounded by alpine nature. Particularly impressive is the panorama with views of the north face of the Eiger and the surrounding peaks.

The alpine herdsman's playground on the Männlichen can be easily reached by the Grindelwald–Männlichen gondola or the Wengen–Männlichen aerial cableway. The centrepiece of the playground is the large cow made of wood and steel, which features an observation platform, a slide and other play options inside. The theme of alpine farming shapes the entire playground and playfully introduces children to the life of alpine herdsmen.

Bidmi dwarf playground, Hasliberg

Intermediate station Bidmi

The Bidmi dwarf playground is located at the intermediate station of the Meiringen–Hasliberg cable car, between Hasliberg Reuti and Mägisalp. Inspired by the Hasli dwarfs, it features wooden huts, climbing towers and slides. It is a perfect family outing where children can playfully explore the fantasy world of the dwarfs.

The adventure playground Flower Park is located above Mürren and can be reached by funicular railway to the Allmendhubel. On the vast play meadow, families experience alpine flora and fauna up close. The playground on the Niederhorn right next to the Berghaus Niederhorn makes every family outing perfect. The balance trail, wobble bridge and the large wooden marble run promise adventure and exercise. Barbecue areas, an alpine orienteering course and trotti-bikes round off the experience. The play and climbing area in Schönried was completely rebuilt in summer 2023 and has since become a popular excursion destination for families. Located directly on the panoramic trail to Saanenmöser, it offers children everything they love: a climbing element with mini slide, a nest swing and toddler swing, a zip line, a net hammock, a seesaw and log cabin, and of course, a sculpture of the famous goat mascot Saani. In addition, ToiToi toilets and table-bench combinations are available.

Saani's tower playground in Gstaad was newly built in summer 2024 and offers children of all ages a safe and varied play environment. The main attractions include the climbing tower with slide, sandpit, several swings with a nest swing and a small playhouse. Meanwhile, parents can relax on comfortable seating areas. Thanks to its location next to the Obergstaad car park, access is easy and convenient.
