Hot Pot auf der Griesalp, Kiental

The joys of bathing

Those who say it doesn’t always have to be champagne may well be right. Sometimes beer or water in a wooden tub provides a good experience too. At least for relaxed bathing.

The HotTug is filled with water at 38 degrees centigrade and glides across Lake Brienz in the most tranquil way. All you have to do is decide where it goes. No test or licence is required to drive the tug, which is powered by an electric motor. Summer or winter, nothing stands in the way of this wonderful water-based experience.

Now here’s a great idea: relax and unwind in a hot tub with a view of Lake Brienz. Sit back in a round wooden bath – for two, six or even eight people – and enjoy the amazing panorama. And as a highlight, enjoy a tasty, creamy cheese fondue right there in the hot tub, before your bathing fun or even afterwards.

To the sound of cowbells and under a starry sky, you bathe in all weathers – walled in by 60 million year old pinnacles – a marine & Alpine feeling all in one.
