Night owls will be delighted to know that sledging by starlight is available on the Niederhorn every Friday and Saturday evening. Moonlight and stars will guide you down to the Vorsass mid-way station, where you can round the evening off with a convivial meal of fondue.

Every Friday and Saturday evening throughout the winter season, the Niederhorn is open for night-time sledging. Enjoy as many trips as you want on the well-prepared sledging run, guided by moonlight, stars and lanterns. The panoramic views of snow-clad peaks and the sea of lights along Lake Thun make this a truly unforgettable experience. If the sledge run is closed due to adverse conditions you have the alternative option of taking part in a guided lantern hike.
