Treber sausage cruise on lake Biel

The Treber sausage (Treberwurst) is one of the best-known culinary specialities of the Biel/Bienne wine region. Traditionally, it is served only during the distillation season from January to March in the local wine cellars.

With Captain Oli, you can enjoy this regional delicacy in a completely new way: surrounded by the enchanting winter atmosphere of Lake Biel, as the ship gently glides across the water. The menu is a delight from start to finish. The evening begins with savoury snacks and delicate fish sandwiches, followed by a creamy white wine soup with crispy croutons. The highlight is the Treber sausage à discrétion, lovingly prepared by Metzgerei Maria Fuhrer in collaboration with the Ruff Distillery. It is served with a hearty potato gratin à la Captain Oli, made with potatoes and leeks. To round off the meal, a freshly baked apple crumble cake awaits you. A vegetarian menu option is of course available.
