Niederhorn

Alpine orienteering, wildlife watching, rapid descents by Trottibike (half bike/half scooter), tobogganing or excellent cuisine: the Niederhorn offers a variety of adventures.

Located at 1,963 m above sea level, the Niederhorn offers spectacular views. At the foot of Beatenberg’s local mountain lies Lake Thun; to the north, views reach as far as the Sigriswil mountain ridge; in the southwest, the Niesen stretches high up in the sky; and in the southeast, the big three mountains of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau amaze visitors with their snow-covered peaks. The Niederhorn, however, has so much more to offer than just panoramic views, it is the perfect place for excursions.

Families love the Niederhorn – it’s as simple as that! It starts with the family snow sports package which perfectly combines winter sports, e.g. tobogganing or snowshoe hiking, with culinary variety. But this is not all. There are activities for all ages: you can whizz downhill on a Trottibike (which is half bike and half scooter), enjoy relaxing moments surrounded by nature, or let off steam on the playground.
