Gstaad

The car-free centre of the village hosts various restaurants, boutiques, hotels and bars. The culinary offerings in Gstaad leave nothing to be desired: more than 100 restaurants prepare delicacies, from hearty to delicious, from creative to regional or international. Cheese lovers will be particularly pleased as they can enjoy a fondue surrounded by alpine nature. With a day’s notice, they can rent a fondue backpack from the various dairies.
 

A network of around 300 km of signalled hiking trails awaits visitors in summer. In winter, Gstaad attracts visitors with its 220 km of enjoyable slopes, countless cross-country skiing trails and winter hiking trails. Gstaad is known as a true insider tip among racing cyclists. The holiday destination offers a varied choice of tours surrounded by an alpine landscape. The sports highlights in July are the Beach Volleyball Major Series – Swatch Major Gstaad as well as the famous tennis tournaments Swiss Open Gstaad.
