The first thing you will notice when you arrive in Gstaad are the lush meadows, the gentle hills and the snow-capped mountain peaks. Located at 1050 m above sea level, the village of Gstaad is the magnet of the region and is proud of its diverse traditions. This holiday destination is home to 200 working farms, 80 alps still in operation and approximately 7000 cows. A visit to one of the farms is always worthwhile.
