At the Emmental Show Dairy in Affoltern, nestled in the heart of the Emmental, you will learn all about the famous Emmentaler AOP cheese and how it’s made. In addition to the live production of Emmentaler AOP, there is so much more to discover and experience. The King's Way is the perfect indoor tour for the whole family, taking you into the fascinating world of Emmentaler AOP. You’ll also find a variety of regional specialties on the restaurant's menu and in the cheese shop. The grounds, featuring a cheesy playground and stunning views of the picturesque rolling hills of the Emmental, invite you to relax and unwind.

Make your own cheese

Make your own ‘Stöcklikäse’ using the traditional method over an open fire. Once it has matured for four months, your own cheese will be sent directly to your home address. Alternatively, you can join one of our cream cheese workshops, where you'll discover the entire cheese-making process. At the end of the workshop, you'll have the chance to take home your own cream cheese heart.
